I’m Teresa
A curly hair, messy bun wearing, plant loving, fitness enthusiast, crafter, and Mama of an adventurous toddler.
I am a therapist for moms who are facing unique challenges in their transition into motherhood. We’re often brought up to believe that being a good mother means you sacrifice yourself. I have to say, I completely disagree with that belief.
It was through the experience of having my son during the onset of a global pandemic that I became aware of the need for adequate support and resources for women during the perinatal period. While the world kept me in isolation, I was so busy caring for a newborn that I didn’t realize this new season of motherhood was isolating in itself.
This is where I found my “why” in supporting mamas to prioritize their mental health.
I’ve been there, in the chaos of the sleepless lonely nights, the overwhelmingly long days, that you get so wrapped up in you can’t remember when you last showered. Motherhood is an incredible-yet-demanding journey and you can be a Mom and still be You too.
